Artist Bio
Meghan Geliza Jackson (BFA, PGDip) is a New Zealand-Filipino multidisciplinary artist exploring the emotional, sensorial, and spiritual dimensions of the natural world. Through earth pigments and clay, she creates meditative portals and primordial landscapes that reflect nature as felt rather than merely seen.
Drawing on abstract expressionism, pop surrealism, eco-materialism, and meditative philosophies, her work evokes awe and serenity, translating landscapes both visible and intangible into immersive, atmospheric forms. Through reflections on nature and the universe, travel and slow living, she crafts contemplative spaces where viewers can escape the frenetic pace of modern life and reconnect with nature's quiet, restorative power.
She now splits her practice between Aotearoa and Japan, shaped by belonging to more than one place. That attentiveness carries into her work, thresholds drawing the viewer toward oneness with body, breath and environment.
She has exhibited and been commissioned internationally, with projects spanning New Zealand, Los Angeles, New York, Italy, Germany, the Philippines, Thailand and the UK. Her work is held in private collections, including the Luciano Benetton Permanent Collection in Treviso, Italy.

Reviews: Collectors, Clients & Collaborations
In my role as manager of The Depot Arts Centre I have the pleasure of meeting many creative people. Meghan both exhibited at The Depot and was a presenter at our Pecha Kucha night. I was totally captured by her articulate way of describing her artwork and practice, and I purchased one of her artworks.
I find the sense of life and energy in these works capture and transport the viewer to reflect on and engage in the topics and issues Meghan’s exploring through her art. Her work and the philosophy that informs it communicates that this is not something recent but in fact has been her pursuit from the beginning.
- Lynn Lawton, Depot Artspace Manager
I am immensely thankful for Meghan's talent in energetically curating a space where my essence could be expressed with such fluidity. An outstanding space holder, Meghan has the gift of recognizing and enhancing the sacred wholeness in others, thus elevating the gifts of their community in profound ways.
What an amazing experience it was to have collaborated with Meghan on the ‘Creation Circle’ workshop!
From the moment we thought of creating offerings together, to the planning and execution it was a wonderful experience.
Her knowledge and lovely energy made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. Looking forward to be able to co-create with Meghan further more in the future!
Meghan has a beautiful aesthetic, exploring themes of unity, connectedness and the natural environment. It’s original and inspiring. As the Creative Director of Fly, I’ve enjoyed her enthusiasm, openness to new ideas and using her unique perspective to support our creative goals.
I believe Meghan can bring the unique, multicultural experience in New Zealand, with her aesthetic that has a global appeal.

Reviews: Sound Baths, Retreats, Somatic Guidance
Meghan is an incredibly kind, empathetic person, and translates her own visions and perceptions in a truly accessible way. She is an amazing bridge between the world we know, and the one right beneath the surface. I have been very inspired and enlightened by her insights. Throughout our entire session she always maintains a professional atmosphere, and allows for questions. I will be working with her again for sure, as it is always an uplifting and important experience to learn from Meghan's readings.

I’ve been to many sound journey meditations and Meghan’s sound journey session with me was the best I’ve ever experienced. The sound that came through her felt very ancient. It felt like the sound of the universe, the cosmos, and it felt like there were even layered sounds within sounds. I felt such peace, expansiveness and joy after the session.
- Lauren Orlina
I’m so grateful for everything she has done to help me begin healing spiritually to find some kind of equilibrium again.
Meghan has a presence filled with positive energy, peace, light and kindness. Her way of guiding is always at your pace and all about what you need in that moment. You never feel out of your depth or judged, and she always goes the extra mile to make sure you feel supported, whether she is with you physically or not.
I’m forever thankful to Meghan for being with me and helping me through. I have nothing but love and respect for this amazing wahine.
- Jo Mitchell
