Art

Originals

I release a collection of select originals a few times in a year. You can be updated on these via my newsletter or on social media.

Prints

Giclée prints on special acid-free paper and fine art archival inks, signed. Printed very finely, will last for a lifetime and are often thought of as originals. 

Shipping

Original Paintings and Prints are shipped through a Fine Art packing and shipping service, and comes with insurance, tracking and signature delivery.

Canvas paintings are shipped stretched, ready to hang.

Processing

For original canvas paintings, orders are processed within 3-5 business days. Once your order's shipped, you'll be notified via email with its tracking number.

For prints & booklets, orders are processed within 3-5 business days. Once your order's shipped, you'll be notified via email with its tracking number.

Delivery Times

Once you’ve been notified via email that your item’s been shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number. Here are the delivery estimates to expect. Please note that the pandemic has caused delays globally, and could take longer than this. Please keep checking your tracking number before being in touch.

I don’t offer untracked shipping options for peace of mind for both the Collector and The Studio. While pricier than untracked, tracking and insured ensures you’ll receive your special artwork safely.

Shipping Packaging

Original Paintings and Prints are shipped through a Fine Art packing and shipping service, with sturdy protective packaging, to ensure your art will arrive safely to you.

Customs and import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. As with any luxury item purchase, Dreams of Source Studio is not responsible for delays, additional taxes and fees due to customs.

Refunds

Art is shipped through a Fine Art packing and shipping service, and comes with insurance, tracking and signature delivery.

Care is essential when shipping your artwork, as it’s a one-of-a-kind, special item, which is why all Originals and Prints are insured for shipping and transit.

  • Refunds are only offered for lost original paintings and prints in the post, with proof from the tracking number that this is due to the Shipping company’s error only, and nothing else. Refunds are not available for buyers who fail to pick up originals/prints from their local depot once delivery attempts have been made, or lost or stolen packages once delivered on your doorstep.


  • Replacements are only available for prints/art booklets, and only for lost packages in the post, with proof from the tracking number that this is due to the Shipping company’s error only.   • For defective or items significantly damaged in transit,* this will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me with images of the defect, and with proof that the damage happened while the item was in transit, and not thereafter (e.g. photos of packaging to assess damage). The studio will assess the legitimacy of the claim within 48 hours and help resolve it.

    *Rest assured, I’ve been shipping artwork internationally for ten years and this has never happened. Now packing and shipping are done through a Fine Art Packing and Shipping service for additional peace of mind for the collector.

  • Dreams of Source Studio has a no returns policy for all items, and a no refund policy for any other situation than what’s mentioned above. Orders cannot be canceled or refunded if you change your mind about a purchase. Please take the time to decide before committing to a purchase.

Framing

I highly encourage framing all your originals and prints.

Gouache works on paper are best framed, archived and displayed behind glass. For these types of artwork, I recommend the Float Art Framing Style. White or wooden frames are best.

For canvas paintings, they come ready to hang, but I recommend framing without glass to elevate their look. Your large painting will come with a framing guide, with recommendations for your local framer. Framing normally costs $200+ depending on materials and location.

Commissions & Art Licensing

You can license original or bespoke artwork for your next project. I’ve been working professionally with clients as a self-representing artist for 14 years and in the design industry for 15 years, and it gives me great pleasure to collaborate and support you with custom work.

Do you paint murals?

Yes! You can commission me to create a mural for you for your home, business establishment or event indoors or outdoors. Since working with earth pigments from mid-2019, murals will now be created with paints from Natural Paint Co., NZ’s leading eco safe paints for exteriors and interiors, as well as Sugar by Ironlak Spraypaints.

I retain all rights to all artwork I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold, licensed and commissioned Original Paintings and Prints.

When you purchase an Original Painting or Prints from Collections you, the Collector have the right to display the artwork in your home or business, but the artwork may not be reproduced in any way (i.e. as Print Reproductions). If the artwork ends up being displayed in a magazine or other media for the purposes of display or promotion however, I only ask for credit (and congratulations on having a beautiful home!).

For commercial commissions and licensed work, a separate written agreement with different terms will be outlined specific to our project together. Learn more
