Paint, Sip & Sound:
Sound Bath & Earth Watercolour Workshop
You don’t need to be an artist. You just need permission to slow down.
Join earth paint artist & meditative sound practitioner Meghan Jackson for an afternoon made for anyone who’s been the responsible one for so long, they forgot they’re allowed to just play.
With nature as our muse, we’ll paint a selection of flowers in earth pigment watercolours. Sip cacao or tea slowly, with nowhere else to be. Then experience a rejuvenating sound bath to bring your body into deep rest.
You’ll be led through calming watercolour techniques, infusing moments of mindfulness with inner child joy. There’s nothing to get right here, and no one to perform for.
No painting experience necessary. If you painted in kindergarten, you’re qualified. All are welcome. You’ll leave softer, more like yourself, and finally able to exhale.

Resonance: Sunday Sound Baths
A monthly Sunday Sound Bath journey: lie back and let the ethereal tones of crystal singing bowls wash over you, easing your body into deep, dreamlike rest. A true treat for your mind and nervous system.
No experience needed, simply lie down, relax & rejuvenate for the week ahead.
Using instruments such as crystal singing bowls, koshi chimes, the rainstick and the sea drum, sound creates vibrations that interact with the body on a deep cellular level. These sounds can help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, responsible for deep rest, recovery, and relaxation.
When you experience chronic stress, it’s much harder to go from stress to deep rest through willpower. Sound is incredible for this, even if you struggle with meditation.
🧘♀️If you’ve experienced Yoga Nidra or lying in Savasana, it’s similar, where you just lie down on the mat. Sound vibrations move palpably through your body, helping you feel deep relaxation without needing to try.
🧘♀️ Your brain may go into theta or delta states, similar to having slept for a few hours in a session (non-sleep deep rest). Priceless for new mums or those who struggle with sleep.
Bring yourself, your partner or friends. Open to all.
What to Expect
Warm welcome & a quick introduction of how the session will go
Grounding & gentle breathwork as you lie down to fully settle
Sound Bath - 75 min ranthia-infused crystal singing bowls, koshi chimes & rain stick
Quiet integration with nourishing tea & chocolate to close
What to Bring
Dress for comfort. Wear loose, comfortable clothes & layers.
Water bottle
Yoga mats, eye pillows, blankets & cushions are all provided for your comfort.

Reviews: Sound Baths, Retreats, Somatic Healing
Meghan is an incredibly kind, empathetic person, and translates her own visions and perceptions in a truly accessible way. She is an amazing bridge between the world we know, and the one right beneath the surface. I have been very inspired and enlightened by her insights. Throughout our entire session she always maintains a professional atmosphere, and allows for questions. I will be working with her again for sure, as it is always an uplifting and important experience to learn from Meghan's readings.

I’ve been to many sound journey meditations and Meghan’s sound journey session with me was the best I’ve ever experienced. The sound that came through her felt very ancient. It felt like the sound of the universe, the cosmos, and it felt like there were even layered sounds within sounds. I felt such peace, expansiveness and joy after the session.

I’m so grateful for everything she has done to help me begin healing spiritually to find some kind of equilibrium again.
Meghan has a presence filled with positive energy, peace, light and kindness. Her way of guiding is always at your pace and all about what you need in that moment. You never feel out of your depth or judged, and she always goes the extra mile to make sure you feel supported, whether she is with you physically or not.
I’m forever thankful to Meghan for being with me and helping me through. I have nothing but love and respect for this amazing wahine.

Reviews: Clients, Events, Space Holding
I am immensely thankful for Meghan's talent in energetically curating a space where my essence could be expressed with such fluidity. An outstanding space holder, Meghan has the gift of recognising and enhancing the sacred wholeness in others, thus elevating the gifts of their community in profound ways.
What an amazing experience it was to have collaborated with Meghan on the ‘Creation Circle’ workshop!
From the moment we thought of creating offerings together, to the planning and execution it was a wonderful experience.
Her knowledge and lovely energy made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. Looking forward to be able to co-create with Meghan further more in the future!
In my role as manager of The Depot Arts Centre I have the pleasure of meeting many creative people. Meghan both exhibited at The Depot and was a presenter at our Pecha Kucha night. I was totally captured by her articulate way of describing her artwork and practice, and I purchased one of her artworks.
I find the sense of life and energy in these works capture and transport the viewer to reflect on and engage in the topics and issues Meghan’s exploring through her art. Her work and the philosophy that informs it communicates that this is not something recent but in fact has been her pursuit from the beginning.

Meghan has a beautiful aesthetic, exploring themes of unity, connectedness and the natural environment. It’s original and inspiring. As the Creative Director of Fly, I’ve enjoyed her enthusiasm, openness to new ideas and using her unique perspective to support our creative goals.
I believe Meghan can bring the unique, multicultural experience in New Zealand, with her aesthetic that has a global appeal.
